"DC wanted horror stories… Excuse me… 'Mystery' stories' revolving around all the different holidays. Well before I knew it, all of the older, established comic book writers from the generation of Denny O'Neil, Len Wein, Marv Wolfman..., etc. quickly gobbled up such things as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, yada yada yada. So I decided to go the most 'Unexpected' way and being merely a DC Junior Woodchuck, I asked for and got a go ahead to craft a story about Easter. The one warning I was given was that they did not want a Jesus/zombie 'back from the dead' story. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I decided to push the envelope as far as DC, my editor Jack Harris, and the powers that be at the Comics Code would allow. After an inspiring listen to my childhood record of Gene Autry singing, 'Here Comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping Down the Bunny Trail,' I started writing." -- Michael Uslan

This story alludes to the fairytales of the Snow Maiden and the rabbit who saved the Buddha, so be prepared for a similar tale of self-sacrificial devotion.
(And yes, the author addresses the question of how the rabbits subsisted in the ice cave—something a lot of Chen Qing Ling viewers had been wondering.)

Issue #124's beginning was Oracle expositing what that help would involve - medical attention for those Flyboiz who'd been poisoned by significant exposure to " Chemo-infected corpses " - and Nightwing summing up with " They need blood transfusions. "
This did not sit well with the Teddies, the other Blüdhaven gang Nightwing was helping.

Recent history tells us that Presidents get one good stupid shopping spree with the nation's already maxed out credit card. Biden had the Inflation Reduction / Infrastructure acts, not sure where that money went. Trump 1 spent all his on a covid response, and I'm being generous to call that shitshow a response. Obama care, failure. W had some wars, possibly the benchmark for wasteful fuckups this century.
If you accept that Trump 2 is going to get to spend a ton of money on something eventually...
For the righties - would you really want this to be it? All that talk of america first and you want him to give that much money and attention to a piece of land a few thousand miles away?
For the lefties - would you really want to close this door, having no clue what's behind door 2? What's behind door #2? Sit back a minute and let your Trump-hating imagination run wild. Not only could it be worse, it probably couldn't get much better.
